The Battle Spirits Special Investigation Team has been researching the game balance of Battle Spirits to the best of their abilities in order for players to enjoy Battle Spirits.
In preparation of the meta for qualifiers of 「Battle Spirits Championship 26-27 Eternal」, we will be adding the following cards into the banned and limited list from 30 May 2026.

The [Bashin Astral Deity Deck] which uses [BSC50-CX01 The Sun Contractor, Bashin Dan] is a deck that can draw a big number of cards in the early game and shave your opponent‘s life using your abundance of hand cards. As such, there is a high appearance rate in official events. It also has gotten good results in 「Battle Spirits Championship 25-26 JAPAN FINAL」 and 「Battle Spirits Championship 25-26 GRAND FINAL」. We estimate there to be high usage rate, and it could cause harm to the meta. As such, we will be implementing the new Banned and Limited List.

[BSC50-031 The Fire Paradise LT] let‘s your brave cards from the family [Followers] in your hand/open zone get an additional red reduction symbol. As such, after being paired with [BSC50-CP01 Bashin Dan], you can summon all kind of braves in the deck at 0 cost and draw as much as you can during the early game. As it can be added into your hand if it is milled by [Bashin Dan], it is easily attainable. As such, we deem it a card that contributes greatly to 「Bashin Astral Deity Deck」 and it will be limited to <1>.

Regarding the 「Flag Nexus Card」 from [BS76] Eternal Booster Pack Radiance of the Eternal Emperor, is the new mechanic which uses [F Contract Descent]. [BS45-090 The Stout Arm Temple of Set], [CB05-055 Dark Tower] and [SD68-007 Tower of Darkness] have always been obstructive towards 「Radiant Descent」. But as we jousted that it would spoil the experience of the newly introduced [Flag Nexus Cards] and 「F Radiant Descent」, we have decided to ban them.
Also, accompanying this adjustment, the pair ban of [Dark Tower] and [Tower of Darkness] is being released.

Moving on, we will unban and unrestricted the following cards in considerations of the current meta.
[BS60-001 Stegorou] and [BS38-X02 The Four Demonlord Hellearth Magna Maizer] will be unbanned，[BS50-X04 The Dragon God of Preservation, Trivi Klama] will be unrestricted. Each deck can have a maximum of 3 of each moving forward.
*It is deemed to cause negative impact to the upcoming meta, they might once again be included in the banned and limited list.
