The Battle Spirits Special Investigation Team has been researching the game balance of Battle Spirits to the best of their abilities in order for players to enjoy Battle Spirits.
In preparation of the meta for qualifiers of [Battle Spirits Championship 26-27 Eternal] Qualifier, the following cards will be added into the banned and restricted list, and some cards will be removed from the banned and limited list from 1st September 2026.

As the theme decks from 『【BSC50】ALnime Booster RESONATING STARS』—— [Astral Deity Dan Deck] using [BSC50-CX01 The Sun Contractor, Bashin Dan] and [Barone Astral Deity Deck] using [BSC50-CX03 The Moonlight Contractor, Barone], as well as the [Contract God Chaos Deck] using [BS75-CX04 The Chaotic Contractor, Chaos] from [BS75] Contract Saga Vol.4 Heroes Anthology as the core of the meta for the past half a year.

「Astral Deity Dan Deck」is a deck that can draw as much as they want in the early game through summoning Brave cards at 0 cost, resulting [BSC50-031 The Fire Paradise LT] being limited to <1>. However, the [Astral Deity Dan Deck] is still active in the meta even after limiting it to <1> and after weighing the fact that it could be returned to hand when it is sent to trash from the deck through the effect of [The Sun Contractor, Bashin Dan], we will designate it as a banned card.

「Barone Astral Deity Deck」has an abundance of means to return cards from your hand to the deck and summon big spirit cards steadily through the [Contract Skill] of [The Moonlight Contractor, Barone]. Even though there are many cards that returns cards from your hand to the deck, but considering it being able to be deployed at no cost from your trash, [BSC50-033 The Light Sacred Sword LT] is limited to <1>.

「BSC48-015 The Clever Machine Dog, KishuDog LT] could restrict draw power while having immunity against multiple colors, is one of the cards that increased the speed and stability of [Barone Astral Deity Deck]. As it is also a target for the Core Charge of [The Moonlight Contractor, Barone] , being able to restrict your opponent greatly from the early game, it is judged to be harmful for the battle, we will not limit it to <1>，and directly designate it as a banned card.

In [Contract God Chaos Deck], [BS75-054 The Rebel Hero, Herc Chaos] is a card that can single-handedly draw and core boost during the early game. Not only can it improve your hand when it 《Manifest》 or attack, it can also provide the cores to be used in follow-up movements. It improved the deck's power greatly from the early game and as such, it will be limited to <1>.

Also, [BS72-019 Mud Foot] is still a powerful card in [Contract God Nyx Deck] that can be recycled multiple times, providing suppression to future decks with core boosting effects. We judge that it might harm the battle and as such, we are not limiting it to <1>，and directly designating it as a banned card.

Next, in considerations of the current meta, the following cards will be lifting the ban and limitations for the following cards.
「BS11-082 Wig Bind」will be removed from the banned list and be limited to <1>.
「BS55-047 The Magician Ice Princess, Agafia」 and 「PX14-06 Ultimate Da-Gon」 will be lifted from the restriction of <1>. After this, each deck can have a maximum of 3 pieces for [The Magician Ice Princess, Agafia] and [Ultimate Da-Gon].
*Should the abovementioned cards be judged to cause negative impact on the meta, they might be included in the banned and limited list in the future.
